What is It?
- The Fall of Men is a 4-day men’s retreat that takes place in the last week of September each year in the community of Telluride, Colorado.
- The retreat is entering its eighth year and continues to grow and expand. For most of us, this has not been an event, but rather a “launch”. It has launched us on a journey to begin to become the men that we were designed to be ...in God's image.

Event History
This journey began with four college friends that reunited in Telluride 8 years ago. Since then, we have hosted a Men's Retreat every autumn in San Miguel mountains of Telluride to renew our hearts and meet new friends.
This is the last year that the event will be hosted in Telluride. We plan to move the event to new exciting locations and host on a bi-annual basis.
Event Highlights
Stay in luxury rentals in Mountain Village/Telluride and combine outdoor group activities with community discussions on a 8-part video series created by John Eldredge and his team. Waterfalls, beautiful mountain views and hikes in the crisp air will remind you of God's creation and why there is a "Wild" in the Heart of every man created by God.
We will say good bye to Telluride in the same way a lot of us met her ...with the study of John Eldredge's book, Wild at Heart.

RECON - Optional
RECON is an optional pre-Retreat event for those Retreat participant s who would like to come early to help with organization and set up for the Fall of Men retreat. It also provides "free time" to explore and take in the beuaity of the San Juan Mountain Range. Due bed limitations, RECON is limited to the first 12 respondees.

This is not a for profit enterprise, but there are some costs related to holding the event, group meals and lodging. If you cannot afford anything, some anyway! If you have the means, we request a modest donation of $500 to help cover the costs. If cannot afford it ...no worries ...come anyway.
Most of the meals are provided, but there are a couple meals on your own. Consider a budget of $100 - $200 for spending.
Most people fly into Montrose (MTJ) serviced by United, American, Jet Blue and Southwest Airlines. Telluride is a 70 minute drive via Rental Car (Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, Budget, Payless, National). Telluride Express (888-212-8294) offers a shuttle option.
A small group will drive each year. I will be driving as I am bringing Scout and bringing a U-Haul back to Houston.
We will be staying in 2 - 3 vacation rentals. Everyone will have their own bed, but may be sharing a room.
This is active and strenuous as you want it to be. Most group activities have an easy option and you can always opt out of any activity. This is not a contest, it's about fellowship of men.
